The development of tourism on the island of Bali has been accompanied by a rapidly increasing population. This development certainly brings a significant impact on the use of groundwater. Water in Bali not only plays a role in fulfilling consumption needs but also serves as an important means in various traditional rituals of the community. This fact then causes disputes. Water that is actually supposed to be used for ritual needs begins to shift in use for consumption needs. It is necessary to have local wisdom to consistently ensure that the water in Bali can be utilized for both purposes that are indeed important for the life of the people there. This book examines the types of local wisdom of the Balinese people, infused with the spirit of Sad Kerthi, to manage and utilize water adaptively and sustainably.
